People are leaving the profession due to the complexity of the existing role. Re working or changing how Architects become qualified alongside all the other changes that have recently happened and are pending will not have a positive contribution to the role of an Architect. More Architects will choose alternative careers. I am not saying do nothing but why re write? More support and recognition should exist towards the profession from RIBA and ARB not falling to pressure from outside parties.

Why change when there are more pressing things for Architect's to deal with. Climate change and recession. Just keep doing the Architects Registration Board function.

The eagerness to rewrite the Architectural Education system is scary. The re writing of education from exam based to coursework back to exam does more harm than good. In these uncertain times people need a constant, not more change.

I think the ARB should just keep the registration board. I used to believe that the RIBA set the standards?

Why a knee jerk reaction to an established profession. Things sometime don't need changing. Push back on the dates and let the profession get over the current crisis of people leaving, low fees, global warming, brexit, covid and recession.

Why make out there is an ethnic, equality or diversity issue? This exists in life.
To access the profession you must be good enough to do the current exams etc, why make is more accessible? If you can't do the grade you don't get the qualification.
I don't think the learning providers need the ARB to tell them how they provide learning. Feedback and comment, however don't rewrite and dictate.
